In a harrowing case that shook the community, two men who shot a police officer, leaving him paralyzed and dependent on a ventilator, have been brought to justice. The attack occurred in April 2023 when Officer Brett Boller of the NYPD was ambushed and severely wounded.
One of the perpetrators, 24-year-old Devin Spraggins from Queens, was convicted of attempted murder and other charges related to the shooting.
