A little boy named Tommy went to church with his grandma every Sunday.
One day, Grandma told him it was time to make his first confession.
She explained, āYou go into that little booth, tell the priest your sins, and heāll forgive you.ā
Tommy was nervous but agreed.
He walked into the confessional and sat down, and the priest slid open the little window.
āBless me, Father, for I have sinned,ā Tommy whispered.
The priest smiled kindly. āGo ahead, my son. What are your sins?ā
Tommy took a deep breath.
āWell⦠I stole a pencil from school⦠I said a bad word⦠and I lied to my mom.ā
The priest nodded. āThatās not too bad. Anything else?ā
Tommy thought hard.
āUmm⦠oh yeah! I threw my sisterās Barbie out the window and told her she ran away.ā
The priest chuckled. āAnything else?ā
Tommy scratched his head.
āOh! And last night, I put peanut butter on the catās paws so sheād tap-dance on the kitchen floor.ā
The priest burst out laughing. āMy son⦠you might need more than forgiveness. You might need a talent agent!ā
