Prince William has been furious with his brother, Prince Harry, and things didn\u2019t get better last week when the estranged prince made his first pubic appeerance since the UK move. While the brothers aren\u2019t talking, King Charles is doing what he can to see his two sons make amends. Now, reports suggest that he has a \u2018deadline\u2019 for when they have to meet \u2013 and the date is breaking hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prince Harry\u2019s relationship with his royal family members, especially his father, King Charles, and his brother, Prince William, is pretty much nonexistent.Since he and Meghan left the Royal Family, things have worsened between the two sides, especially after Harry released his book, Spare. Shortly after Harry\u2019s departure, however, they tried to find common ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Prince Philip\u2019s funeral in 2021, Harry, William, and Charles met at Frogmore Cottage. But sadly, it didn\u2019t end well, at least that\u2019s not what Harry claimed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his 2024 book Spare, Harry wrote that his family members had \u201ccome for a fight\u201d as they tried to reconcile with him. The Duke said the least they wanted was to understand why they had left the royal family in the first place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI8 tried to explain my side of things. I wasn\u2019t at my best. For starters. I was still nervous, fighting to keep my emotions in check, while also striving to be succinct and precise,\u201d Harry wrote. \u201cMore, I\u2019d vowed not to let this encounter devolve into another argument. But I quickly discovered that it wasn\u2019t up to me<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, as previously mentioned, it didn\u2019t end well. Before the main subject was to be discussed \u2013 when King Charles asked about the weather and the funeral \u2013 Harry felt he was cut off whenever he wanted to speak. Eventually, the two brothers got into a \u201cheated\u201d argument. King Charles finally had to step in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

King Charles tries to mend relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry
The estranged prince recalled Charles \u201clooking up at our flushed faces,\u201d saying, \u201cplease, boys, don\u2019t make my final years a misery<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly, King Charles\u2019s wish has not yet been fulfilled, at least not the part about having his son make amends. Harry and Meghan\u2019s move back to the U.K. has sparked mixed emotions, and the royals made sure no one mistook it for a welcome back into the Royal fold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charles sent out a letter saying they would not be welcomed back; William was claimed to be behind it. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Sussexes said they were \u201csurprised\u201d by Charles letter<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exactly why Harry and Meghan moved back to the U.K. is not clear; however, last week they made their first public appearance, which left William livid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

King Charles sets deadline for William and Harry
In their first joint engagement since returning, on Thursday last week, Harry and Meghan visited The Community Recording Studio (CRS) charity in Nottingham. They also took part in a cooking class at the Himmah Hub, an organization tackling food poverty, and visited youth charity Epic Partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the outside, it certainly looked like a royal engagement. And that was William\u2019s thought too. Per Express, Prince William was outraged, as he felt the outing was a betrayal towards King Charles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The source told New Idea, \u201cWilliam could not believe what he was seeing. It was the final straw for him, it couldn\u2019t have looked more like an official royal duty if it tried. It was as if they\u2019d totally ignored Charles\u2019 letter. William is furious about it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The source also said William and King Charles\u2019 advisors are in \u201cintense meetings\u201d over \u201chow to avoid Harry and Meghan gatecrashing other events or clashing with senior royals\u2019 events<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While King Charles is doing his duties as monarch, being father to two sons that are not even the slightest of friends anymore must be tough. But while Harry and William seem determined not to speak to each other, King Charles wants one thing: a reunion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the point of no return\u201d
A source told New Idea Magazine that the monarch is considering holding a small tribute to honor their late mother and his ex-wife, Princess Diana, next year for the 30th anniversary of her passing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charles wants both his sons to be there, not least for his grandchildren\u2019s future, since it\u2019s a \u2018deadline\u2019 for his sons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe wants all Diana\u2019s grandchildren there too. He figures there\u2019s a chance of calming down some of the anger by reminding those boys of family, kids and God,\u201d the source said. \u201cCharles is at the point of no return with Harry and William \u2013 he\u2019s going all-in on a reconciliation for the sake of his grandkids.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The source added: \u201cAfter Earl Spencer\u2019s book, they have to be a united force. William may not see it to his advantage now, but Charles knows there\u2019ll come a day when he\u2019ll be grateful to have his brother\u2019s back.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
